Great Britain has scored an unconvincing 28-22 win over New Zealand to take a 3-0 series win for the first time since Moses was a lad.
As with this entire series New Zealand played well below par and Great Britain did what they needed to score a fairly easy win.
Rob Burrow was named man of the series in a fair decision, no one really stood out for the Lions but he has been an improvement on who Great Britain have trotted out at halfback for the last few years.
Its been a bit of an anti-climactic series I think for all involved. Even British fans haven’t been all that excited by it, possibly because of the so-so football on show and possibly because of the terrible form of New Zealand.
The Kiwi’s have been nothing short of diabolical. Its been a shambled from the way the players have played right up to the carrying on by the NZRL Chairman who has made a fool of himself.
What ever the case, the Poms did what they had to and got a 3-0 series win at a canter.
