You know when you wake up the morning after a big night? You lie in bed as long as you can, you finally drag yourself to the toilet and take a wicked piss, and then you spend the next 24 hours trying to feel like your not dying?
I reckon its about 3 hours into this process that you get your first call, usually from a friend who didn’t get destroyed. They ask how you are, and you are appreciative of them being so concerned about you welfare.
Then they say those dreaded words….
“You don’t remember last night do you?”
This is bad. This is when you feel the spew rising. You try to play it cool, but you’re dreading what is about to be said to you over the phone. You’re prepared for anything!
By the way, this has never happened to me, I swear!
That’s when you’re mate starts tell you about what you did. Its bad, and there were witnesses. Worst of all, in this day and age, everyone’s got a phone with a camera in it and….well, social media is a horrible thing!
So where am I going with all of this you are asking? Why is League Freak taking me on this journey?
Today there is a picture going around of someone that looks like a Rugby League player doing something to a Dog. Now, its not been confirmed that its him, and I’m not even gonna hint at it on my site because frankly, I like not being sued!
I’ve seen the picture and I’ve gotta say, damn, it looks like a Rugby League player. I wouldn’t say a high profile player, but a well known name for sure.
I don’t know what was going through the persons head when this was happening. Maybe they had a ruff day. Maybe they were were feeling sorry for themselves…paw me. What ever the case, far kennel, this person is one sick puppy!
His friends, or supposed Chums, obviously delighted in this act. At least one person is seen in the picture with no pants on and taking a picture besides the one I’ve viewed. What were these people doing, throw me a fricken bone!
Now, if this turns out to be a Rugby League player, he’s in trouble. Not only would it be an act of cruelty, but its obviously illegal to engage in a sex act with an animal, unless you’re in Yorkshire where its a birth right.
This sucks for the games administrators, who will have to put out another fire. The actions of individuals in Rugby League for some reasons translate into the entire game at every level needing shut down.
If it is a Rugby League player, and I’m not saying it is, I can’t see how he can’t be sacked for this. I can’t see how he can continue his career. No club would want to be associated with….that!
What ever the case, the person in the picture has issues. You can only hope that someone gets to the bottom of this and the Rugby League player who it looks like gets cleared completely and we can all get on with out lives.
In closing…..doggy style.
