The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that Penrith Panthers prop Mose Masoe will join St Helens in 2014.
Masoe, who joined the Panthers in the off season from the Sydney Roosters, is one of the biggest players in the game today and a player I rate fairly highly. he has good mobility for a big forward and give good go forward.
I think he would be a fantastic signing for St Helens. He has the potential to be one of the best forwards in Super League.
Like all big forwards that head over to Super League, the deciding factor would be that he carries a decent fitness level into the Super League season. The last thing St Helens fans want is another Josh Perry on their hands.
If Masoe heads to St Helens he will be joining Panthers team mate Luke Walsh in Nathan Browns side.
St Helens has had a fairly tough season so far and its clear a few of their current imports have had their day. While it is going to be difficult for Super League teams to sign any quality players in the future St Helens have done extremely well to get these two players on their books.
It helps that Penrith sign players to contracts and then look to offload them. Its pretty clear that all of St Helens future success should be attributed to the Penrith Panthers, and by extension, The Glorious League Freak!
