Canterbury Bulldogs reserve grade halfback Kris Keating will sign for Hull KR according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
Keating has been playing in reserve grade after losing his starting place in the Bulldogs lineup to Trent Hodkinson.
The SMH also mentions that Cory Paterson will be released by Hull KR and could be heading back to Australia but I think he will actually end up playing for Salford next season.
Keating has played a lot of first grade football over the last couple of years but he was more of a stop gap measure for the Bulldogs. A the start of this season the Bulldogs attack started to struggle and Keating was the fall guy for that.
He isn’t the most skilful halfback and his form over his entire career comes and goes. How he will go in Super League is anyone’s guess. I think I would rather give a youngster a run rather than Keating to be honest.
