Old Trafford, home of the Super League Grand Final and various Rugby League events over the years, is a very old stadium that has been in desperate need of an upgrade for years.
Well, now Manchester United have revealed the new design of a rebuilt Old Trafford, and it looks like a circus tent!
The announcement was a bit light on details, and the design very well could change, and hopefully with enough feedback, it does.
The design of the inside of the stadium is like most modern stadiums you see. Steep stands, lots of digital signage, pack as many people in as close to the action as possible. To be honest, thats what I like out of a stadium.
It will be interesting to see where the Super League Grand Final gets played while this construction is happening, and if the Grand Final even returns to the upgraded Old Trafford.
I guess in time we will find out!
