The World Champion Australian Kangaroos will continue their role as the leaders in the international game by flying to England at the end of the 2025 NRL season and taking on England in a three match series.
The first test will be held in London at Wembley Stadium on October 25th, with the second match held at the brand new Everton Stadium in Liverpool on November 1st, while the third game will be at Headingly Stadium in Leeds on November the 8th.
The venue choices are pretty good in my opinion. Hopefully English fans get out and enjoy watching a truely world class team putting it to their countrymen.
Australia will win this series 3-0, and their biggest opponent will no doubt be the dodgy refereeing that you always get in England. Still, the light hit-out will have to get the job done as the Kangaroos look towards the 2026 World Cup.
2025 Rugby League Ashes Schedule
First Test – Saturday 25 October, Wembley Stadium, London
Second Test – Saturday 1 November, Everton Stadium, Liverpool
Third Test – Saturday 8 November, Headingley Stadium, Leeds
No doubt the betting agencies will have Australia as overwhelming favourites. If you want to know when the last time England or Great Britain won any type of series over Australia, you’ll have to ask your grandparents about it.
