The New Zealand All Golds beat the Northern Union side 25-18 in Warrington last night.
It was an interesting game to watch and certainly helped me get my footy fix for the weekend as the All Golds dominated for most ofthe match.
It was only a 20 minute period in the second half where the Northern Union side showed anything at all and a combination of good play and luck saw them draw level.
At the end of the day though the All Golds were far too good for the Northern Union side.
It was nothing short of comical when Northern Union forward Sam Burgess was named man of the match, yet another insular and ridiculous decision by the Poms when handing out player awards.
For the All Golds, Steve Price, David Faiumu and Greg Eastwood all played very well. On the Northern Union side only Danny McGuire had a game of any note with Jamie Rooney having one of the worst games I have ever seen a player have.
