The Brisbane Broncos will face off with the Melbourne Storm for a place in the NRL Grand Final after seeing off the St George/Illawarra Dragons in Brisbane.
The Broncos come out breathing fire and really put the Dragons on the back foot early.
With the Broncos forwards stepping up, their star backline was able to do its thing, causing nightmares for the Dragons all night.
The Dragons simply choked, again, showing nothing in attack at all, being dominated up front and with only Jamie Soward doing anything at all to try and get into the game.
For all his time trying to get his head on TV, Wendel Sailor was again bloody hopeless. There was a good reason people were wondering if that was it for Wendel, he was simply shithouse.
As for the Broncos, they will have to face the Storm without Peter Wallace who has a broken ankle and with Darren Lockyer also under an injury cloud but expected to play.
Its been a fantastic effort from Brisbane. It seems just weeks ago I said on this web site they were gone for season 2009 but they have fought back and managed to out point their opponents game after game.
Now they have to head to Melbourne though and face the Storm. Its a big ask!
