Akuila Uate has scored a hat trick as Fiji ran away with a 32-14 in over Ireland in Rochdale.
Fiji looked a class above Ireland and were physically dominant throughout the contest. Even as Fiji lost a player to the sin bin in the heavy rain, Ireland simply couldn’t work their way back into the contest.
As semi finalists in the 2008 World Cup, Fiji come into this tournament under the radar a little. They have a lot of very good players in their team and their outside backs look fantastic.
Fiji has possibly the best wingers of any team at the World Cup, and that includes Australia and New Zealand. They looked great in the pouring rain, on a dry track they will be sensation!
