The Gold Coast Titans have released the following statement:
Parramatta hooker Nathan Peats has tonight agreed to terms to play for the Aquis Gold Coast Titans for the remainder of 2016 and the 2017 seasons.
The 25-year-old, who has played 89 NRL games for Parramatta and South Sydney and has also played back row, will leave Sydney for the Gold Coast in coming days.
There will be no further comment from the club at this stage.
Peats is a great signing for the Titans. The deal is reported to be worth around $450,000 which is a pretty good price for a player I think should be one of the first selected for New South Wales in the 2016 State Of Origin series.
