Sure they had a few decisions go against them, but Great Britain was well beaten by New Zealand in Wellington on the weekend.
Now, down on confidence, the Lions face an Australian side in Brisbane thats looking for revenge.
So can they come back and make their way into the final?
With Sean Long having played his once decent game in the last 5 years already and Great Britain’s forwards starting to look a bit tired, you have to wonder if they can go the distance. I didn’t think New Zealand played out of their skin on Sat night but they still managed to make it look pretty easy against Brian Nobles men.
Still, if Australia goes ahead and makes some of the ridiculous selections they have in the last couple of years, anything is possible.
As I’m going to the Tri Nations final myself, I am hoping Great Britain make it.
Why?
Because nothing would be finer than to be there when Australia puts on 40 points in the first half and crushed GB yet again! 😀
