Parramatta Eels longtime club man Tim Mannah has asked for a release from the remainder of his deal at the club so he could take up a contract with the Wests Tigers effective immediately.
Mannah was in the final year of his contract at the Eels. The move suggestions the Wests Tigers have signed the former Parramatta captain to a deal that extends into the 2020 season.
I personally don’t understand this move from the Wests Tigers point of view. The Tigers needs to rebuild the club from their juniors, they need to rebuild for the future. Mannah, at 31 and not in the best of form, seems to go against that.
