You’ll have noticed I am yet to post the official squad lists for other nations competing in the World Cup, but I have a good reason.
It seems the people running these teams have no idea what they are doing!
In some instances I can’t really blame them. The rules are there are no rules……so every country is just naming who ever they like.
This has led to some countries selecting players that are ineligible, while other countries (Including New Zealand) have selected players who can’t play due to injury!
As for the worst selection so far, it has to be Ashton Sims getting a start with Fiji.
Predictably the Scotland squad as as Scottish as Vegemite while the Ireland squad was announced in Leeds!
I’m not here to promote or be a cheerleader for the World Cup. You will get plenty of that on other web sites and if you want to be fed lines about how everything is fine and rosy, then find another web site.
If the competition is good, I’ll say as much, but if its a sticker, I won’t be holding back.
