Fox Sports journalist James Hooper is reporting that the Parramatta Eels could offload winger Semi Radradra in an effort to get themselves back under the 2016 salary cap.
The Eels will not play for any competition points until they can prove they are under this years cap.
It would be a shock if the Eels chose to let go of Radradra as he is one of the clubs biggest stars. He is also one of the clubs top performers on the field, and if he stays at the Eels he looks set to break all sorts of try scoring records. Being a winger though, he plays one of the easier positions to cover with a lower salary player, and considering that Radradra would be an attractive buy for any club, he would be pretty easy to move on.
I personally would hope that the Eels retain Radradra, but at the same time, I wouldn’t mind seeing him move to my club!
This is all a rotten situation to see play out. Its such a shame that the Eels have been so terribly run for so long.
